Biography and Research Interest
Dominic Wright and I are investigating MATE CHOICE in the zebrafish here at Leeds University . We are interested in its potential as a model for behaviour genetics, quantitative genetics and in particular the genetics of ethological isolation. We have stocks collected from the wild in Nepal and Bangladesh. The zebrafish are also being used for studies of shoaling by members of Dr Jens Krause's lab.
