Biography and Research Interest
Assistant Professor of Computing Science at Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, BC, Canada. Co-director of the Graphics, Usability and Visualization lab. Research interests in human-computer interaction (HCI), specifically haptic interfaces and user interface software architectures. Also working in applications of HCI to bioinformatics, including ZFIN.
As a Ph.D. student in the Interactive Systems Group of the Computer Science Department, University of Oregon, was a member of the team designing and implementing the Zebrafish Database Project, developing genetic mapping and related portions of the database.
