Our lab is interested in understanding eye development and disease using iPSC-derived retinal organoids as in vitro models and zebrafish as in vivo model systems.
Our group is currently focused on:
(1) The genetics of retinal and anterior segment development.
(2) Molecular basis of inherited retinal diseases and anterior segment dysgenesis.
