Researcher in Veterinary Anatomy. As a member of the Zebrafish Neuromorphology Lab, I investigate the role of growth factors in the development, maintenance, and regeneration of the zebrafish central and peripheral nervous system, with particular emphasis on sensory systems. My research combines neurobiology, neuroanatomy, and regenerative neuroscience, employing zebrafish and other teleost fish models together with immunohistochemical, molecular, and confocal imaging approaches.
