BIOGRAPHY AND RESEARCH INTERESTS
Wei GE received his B.Sc. in experiment zoology from Nanjing University in 1982, M.Sc. in genetics from the Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) in 1985, and Ph.D. in physiology from University of Alberta in 1993. He joined The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1995 after spending two years doing postdoctoral research at the National Institute for Basic Biology (NIBB) in Japan. He is currently a chair professor at the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Macau. Before joining the University of Macau in 2013, he was a full professor at the School of Life Sciences, The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
