Biography and Research Interest
Biography:
I have been employed at the Institute of Biological and Chemical Systems - Biological Information Processing (formerly known as ITG) since January 2005, initially as a project leader and, since 2020, as an independent group leader. Prior to joining the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, I held the following key roles:

National Institute of Health and Medical Research Fellow (2002-2024).
Postdoctoral Researcher at IGBMC, France (2000-2002).
Obtained a Ph.D. degree from the University of Ulm, Germany (1997-2000).
Earned a Diploma from the University of Strasbourg, France (1995-1997).

Research interests:
My research focuses on characterizing the molecular mechanisms governing both zebrafish embryonic and adult constitutive and regenerative neurogenesis, with a particular emphasis on transcriptional regulation during these processes.
