Statement of Research Interest
The Zebrafish Platform at the Biomedical Research Center supports diverse research programs utilizing zebrafish as a model organism. Major research interests include drug toxicity and efficacy screening, development and regeneration, metabolic disease modeling, neurobiology, and cardiovascular research. A major focus of our platform is the research led by Prof. Yan Wang’s group, which utilizes zebrafish models to investigate the mechanisms of liver regeneration and metabolic liver diseases such as MASLD.
