Chaudhari Lab

Our lab is interested in developing transgenic zebrafish biosensors expressing fluorescent reporter proteins for monitoring environmental pollution. We have developed several transgenic zebrafish lines for heavy metals as well as genotoxic pollutants. We are also generating inbred zebrafish models for estimating inbreeding depression and developing various disease models. Our goal is to develop a resource center, CZeBraG (Centre for Zebrafish Breeding and Genetic Research) to supply pedigreed zebrafish to researchers.
