Statistical analysis was conducted according to data distribution: Normally distributed metabolites (arginine, serotonin, glutamine, and dopamine) were analyzed using a 2-way ANOVA followed by Tukey’s HSD post-hoc test (P < 0.05), whereas non-normally distributed metabolites (ornithine) were assessed using the KW test followed by Dunn’s post-hoc test with Benjamini–Hochberg correction for multiple testing (P < 0.05).
