Figure 3

Proteomic and metabolomic analysis of celf2 mutant and WT embryos. (A) GO enrichment analysis reveals the top 20 molecular functions of differentially expressed proteins between WT and celf2+/− zebrafish, focusing on the significant difference in “Lipid transporter activity”. (B) GO enrichment analysis of the top 20 biological processes shows disrupted pathways, including “Lipid transport” and “Lipid localization”. (C) KEGG enrichment analysis of the top 20 differentially expressed proteins between the two groups of zebrafish. The prominent enriched pathways include “Pancreatic secretion”, “Protein digestion and absorption”, and “Purine metabolism”. (D) KEGG enrichment analysis of the top 20 differentially expressed metabolites indicated significant pathways, including “Glycerolipid metabolism”, “Glucagon signaling pathway”, and “Carbon metabolism”. celf2: CUGBP Elav-like family member 2; GO: Gene Ontology; KEGG: Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes; WT: Wild-type.
