Expression of AMPP7 is significantly decreased in skeletal muscle samples from osteoporotic (OP) and osteoarthritic (OA) patients, whereas BMYOD1 shows only a slight, non-significant reduction compared to controls. Human gluteus medius muscle samples were obtained from patients with OP (n = 7), OA (n = 11), and healthy autopsy donors (CTL, n = 6). Gene expression was measured by RT-qPCR using RPLP0 as the internal control. Data are presented as mean fold change ± SEM. Statistical significance was assessed by one-way ANOVA with Tukey’s post hoc test,**P < 0.01
