The use of MAGI2 as a marker for super-resolution microscopy enabled morphometry. As shown in (A), MAGI2 was co-localized with NEPHRIN both in healthy and in effaced podocytes. Both MAGI2 (B) and NEPHRIN (C) were used as a marker protein to determine the filtration slit density as a marker for foot process effacement. The graph in (D) shows the strong positive correlation of both values when determined for the same biopsy. The scale bars represent 2 µm
