Figure 4—figure supplement 4. Spectral Granger-causality does not improve information flow detection for the original, not pre-smoothened data.

Spectral Granger-causality (computed using the Barnett and Seth, 2014). Results for motoneurons (dataset f6t1, N = 12 neurons) reveals more structre when applied to smoothened fluorescence data compared to the raw fluorescence signal. The top row shows the ipsilatarel links in solid curves, and contralateral links in dashes. The top row shows the rostral-to-caudal links in solid curves, and caudal-to-rostral links in dashes. The last row shows the weighted ipsilateral ratio WIC and the weighted rostral-to caudal ratio WRC.
