Unpaired two-tailed t-test was used. ****, p < 0.001; **, p < 0.01; *, p < 0.05. (B) Representative images of spheroid/pellet with the presence of 10 ng/ml BMP2 for 14 days. Bar, 1 mm. (C) Time course of BMP2-induced phosphorylation of Smad1/5/8. Monolayer cultures were stimulated with 10 ng/ml BMP2, and cells were lysed after indicated time of incubation. (D) Statistical analysis of pSMAD1/5/9 in (C). All experiments were performed in triplicate with similar results.
