Expression of dlx6a is reduced in the absence of dlx5a whereas the expression of dlx5a is increased in 48hpf and 72hpf dlx6a−/−, especially in the prethalamus (outline arrowhead) and hypothalamus (black arrowhead). Percentages indicate how often the phenotype was observed. Scale = 500 μm.
