By 8.2 SSL, the primary hypodermis of hypoTH individuals appeared sparser than euTH controls. (B) Dermal cell density (cell/mm2) was similar in euTH and hypoTH fish at 6.4 SSL. By 8.2 mm SSL, euTH fish had significantly denser dermis than hypoTH siblings.
