Cardiac injury triggers an elevation in PGE₂ synthesis. (A,B) LC-MS/MS profiling showed that PGE₂ concentrations were significantly elevated above all other prostaglandin species analyzed in both the uninjured heart (A), and at 3 dpa (B).
