Astemizole inhibits zebrafish angiogenesis in a cholesterol-dependent manner. The Tg(fli1:EGFP)y1 zebrafish embryos (8 hpf) were microinjected with astemizole (AST, final dosage of 0.3 ng or 0.6 ng/embryo) with or without cholesterol-cyclodextrin complex (CHOL, final dosage of 3.7 ng in 10% cyclodextrin/embryo). (A) The representative zebrafish images were taken at 72 hpf. Scale bar = 500 μm. The image inlets (white square) magnifying sub-intestinal vessels (SIV) are shown at the bottom of each image.
