(A) Whole-mount in situ hybridization on zebrafish Danio rerio embryos at different stages with a digoxigenin-labelled ckip-1 PH domain antisense probe for the localization of ckip-1 mRNA. Using an antisense probe complementary to the C-terminal part of ckip-1 cDNA gave the same results (data not shown). Specificity of hybridization signal was attested with sense RNA probe complementary to the specific probe (control 7 hpf). (B) Western blot using our anti-CKIP-1 antibody that recognizes Danio rerio Ckip-1 on whole embryo lysates (100 µg). Equal loading was checked by Coomassie staining of the gel.
