Fig. 3 Bhlhe22 was over-expressed and cdh11 was not affected by Irx7 knockdown at 52 hpf. The expression level of (A) bhlhe22 in the Irx7-morphant retinas was higher than the controls at 52 hpf, suggesting that they might be normally suppressed by irx7. (B) The expression of cdh11 was not detected in the retinas in either the control or Irx7 morphants. The dorsal-tilted and ventral views of retina are shown. The specific expression locations of these genes are listed in Table 2. Scale bar = 50 μm.
