Effects of HEP induction at 30% epiboly on CE movement. Embryos from crosses of wild-type and HEP+/- fish were exposed to heat shock at 30% epiboly, allowed to develop to the bud stage at a lower temperature, and then examined for the expression of regional markers. Embryos in the left two columns showed normal patterns (Sibling-HS), whereas those in the right two columns showed abnormal patterns (HEP-HS), typical of embryos with affected CE movement.
