- Definition
- An organic heterotricyclic compound that is 3a,4,5,9b-tetrahydro-3H-cyclopenta[c]quinoline substituted by a 6-bromo-1,3-benzodioxol-5-yl group at position 4 (the 3aS,4R,9bR-stereoisomer). It is a high affinity and selective GPER1 receptor antagonist (Ki = 20 nM) which inhibits the anti-depressive effects of estrogen in vivo.
