Definition:	A member of the class of xanthones that is 9H-xanthen-9-one substituted by hydroxy groups at positions 1, 6 and 7, 3-methylbut-2-en-1-yl group at position 2, methoxy group at position 3, and a 3-hydroxy-3-methylbutyl group at position 8. It is isolated from the stems of Cratoxylum cochinchinense and exhibits anticancer activity.
