Temporal expression profiles of the zebrafish group B1 sox genes determined by reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). Total RNA isolates were prepared from embryos at six different stages (32 cells, 1,000 cells, 30% epiboly, tail bud, 24 hr, and 48 hr) and subjected to RT-PCR analysis. Both β-actin and ef1 were used as controls. No PCR products were detected when reverse transcriptase was omitted from the reaction (data not shown). |
