STATEMENT OF RESEARCH INTERESTS
Our laboratory is interested in the expression and function of heat shock protein genes during zebrafish embryogenesis. More specifically, projects are aimed at elucidating the role which heat shock proteins play as molecular chaperones in post-translational events which regulate the development of specific tissues during embryonic development. Other projects are examining the differential regulation of heat shock genes in a stress and tissue specific manner.
