The 8X multimerized heat shock promoter element from Czerny (Bajoghli et al., 2004, Dev. Biol. 271, pp. 416-430) was inserted into a Tol2 vector. This drives transcription bidirectionaly. In one direction, it drives the transcription of eGFP, and in the other direction it drives the transcription of a constitutively active mutant of mouse Bmpr1b (Alk6, NM_007560) with a Q203D mutation, obtained from Jeff Wrana.
