BIOGRAPHY AND RESEARCH INTERESTS
I grew up in Detroit, then spent 20 plus years in East Coast. I got my PhD in Drosophila embryonic axis formation at Yale with Carl Hashimoto, then did postdoc in chemical biology with Randy Peterson at Harvard. Now I am at Vanderbilt and enjoying the Southern hospitality.
