(A) During the transplantation experiments shown in Figure S4 and Table S1B, we found one embryo in which Tg(ins:GFP) expression in smo mutant endoderm was rescued (arrow) when wildtype donor cells were incorporated into the endoderm directly adjacent to the rescued Tg(ins:GFP) expressing mutant cell. (B) Magnified view of the rescued Tg(ins:GFP) expressing mutant cell (arrow) shown in (A).
